Week 6 —
The Fruit
Key passage: Romans 12:1–2 "Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship."
The study teaches that godliness is not one more thing to add — it is what naturally results from the first five qualities practiced consistently: "The fruit of a mature disciple should be at least godliness, brotherly affection, and love. As we are steadfastly increasing in faith, virtue, knowledge, and self-control, then godliness, brotherly affection, and love will be the natural byproduct." As Pastor Kevin writes: "Godliness is the byproduct of a steadfast life of faith, virtue, knowledge, and self-control. The key word is discipline!"
