Brotherly Affection

Key passage: Romans 12:4–10 | 1 Corinthians 12:4–11 "Think about how God has gifted you. What do you enjoy doing? What are you passionate about? How can you leverage that for the body of Christ?"

The study points to the local church as the arena for brotherly affection: "It is important for each member to contribute to the body of Christ by serving according to their gifts. This is how we increase our brotherly affection — by ministering to the body of Christ." A sobering warning is also given: "Satan does not want you with the body! Like a coal separated from the fire, a believer separated from the body will lose their spiritual heat."
